Lithology and Thickness
Composed of dark gray clayey shales, sandstones, and limestones, forming packages up to 500 m thick. In addition to these, the suite contains a large number of lenses of greenstone diabases and andesite-diabases, as well as large bodies of light reef limestones up to bodies over 1000 m wide and more than 20 km long, into which terrigenous and volcanic rocks intrude like wedges. The incomplete thickness of the Dzhangadzhir Fm is 2000 m.

Regional extent
Common in the eastern part of the Karakul district. The Dzhangadzhir Fm (Джинrаджирская свита) is among the poorly studied geological objects of the Pamir.

Fossils
In its various parts, remains of fusulinids of the Karachatur horizon - Schwagerina sp.; of the Ulyuk horizon - Darvasites Ordinatus (Chen), Pseudofusulina cf. kraffti (Schellw. et Dyhr.); of the Kuberkandinsky - Misellina dyhrenfurthi (Dutk.), M. parvicostata (Depr.), Cancellina primigena Hayden, Armenina sp.; of the Murgab horizon - Polydiexodina darvasica Dutk., Verbeekina sp., Sumatrina sp., Afghanella sp., etc., have been found in many places.
